Following reports that U.S. and German officials are holding secret talks on drug pricing, Americans for Health Excellence (AFHE) Executive Director Dr. Brad Wenstrup issued the following statement in response:

“American patients pay three times more than Germans for new medications, not because our costs are higher, but because Berlin has been offloading those costs onto us for years. The Trump Administration is right to call out Germany’s exploitation of American innovation and demand they pay their share.”
