“Germany was offered a genuine off-ramp from an active Section 301 investigation. Instead of engaging with U.S. concerns, it chose to exploit America anyway. Passing a bill that further squeezes American patients and taxpayers who’ve spent decades subsidizing the cures the rest of the world enjoys is indefensible. It’s a disappointing answer, and President Trump and Ambassador Greer have every justification to respond.”
